We are blessed to have some amazing friends that we are able to meet with regularly to either play games, hang out or have huge feasts. This past weekend we had a great time on a double date with a couple that we're pretty close to in our current ward. We ate dinner at an authentic Mexican restaurant and it was super yummy! It was packed and fun being in that type of atmosphere. We talked about going on a little vacation together this year with that couple, so we're looking forward to making some plans soon.
After dinner, we headed to The Stratosphere to see Frankie Moreno.
This guy was GOOD! He is so musically and vocally talented. We loved the entire show! If you're into the jazzy-Michael Buble-piano lounge type of music, then you've gotta catch his show at the Strat because it was great. We had good seats and there was a point in the show that he came out and sat near Melanie to sing a song on his acoustic guitar. Melanie swears that he looked at her and smiled, but Kyle doesn't believe her. ;)
A few weekends prior, we gathered with our best friends for our traditional get together. We're glad that we still make arrangements to see each other every few months because we really do love our friendship with these two families. We all met back in the Hacienda Ward when we first moved to Las Vegas. Ever since then, we have stayed in touch, although we have all moved to different parts of the valley. We all have had children since our Hacienda Ward days, so it's even more fun to get together now and watch the kids interact.
Like always, we forgot to take our camera out of Melanie's purse, so we came home without any evidence that we got together. :( We had a fun time catching up and eating amazing food though.
Bryce is the funniest little guy. Melanie is fortunate to be able to hang out with him every day. He recently learned how to say "love you!" (His pronunciation is: Duh-doo!) He randomly says it around the house or out shopping. He always associates it with good byes because Kyle gives kisses and says "Love you," before leaving for work every morning. It's cute when Bryce acts like he's going outside and stops midway to say, "Duh-doo!" and then smacks his lips before trying to unlock the door.
Currently, Melanie is in the middle of many projects...it's starting to get to the point that we're losing track of everything that is going on around here. So we'll have to update you all with those changes. All we have to do is complete one! There are a lot that are near completion and some that have yet to be started. Wish us luck! :)

It was great to have you guys here and I love that Bryce is talking now. If you want any pics, I could/should email them to you so you have some memories....I'll try to remember, or remind me too (I forget easily). We're looking forward to the next time!
